Proverbs 20:6 Many a man proclaims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?

I am grateful for my wife's ability to endure the times when my life and professional pursuits were out of balance, even in ministry. In the past, she even referred to my ministry as a mistress. We have made much progress since then. Even last month was challenging due to our fund raising event when I worked too many hours.

When we said "I do" and became "one flesh" we were committed to it. I am thankful for the marriage warriors God has sent into our lives (The Hines, The Babucas). We have not arrived but we did have a date night last week and she is 7 months pregnant! What a blessing!

The Tiki Barber news is not an isolated deal. The enemy prowls around looking for leaders to devour. Fight for your marriage today! If you are unfaithful leave the relationship you are in. Establish a consistent date night with your wife.

We need to be "old school" when it comes to marriage or maybe it is "God's school", He has plenty to say about our faithfulness. But we would need to read the Bible to follow his GPS for our lives.

Report: Tiki Barber slapped with divorce suit

He was running around town with his young mistress -- while his pregnant wife spent a week in the hospital -- until football star-turned-chat-show-host Tiki Barber got tackled, The New York Post reported Tuesday.

The ex-Giants star was slapped with divorce papers following his public gallivanting with 23-year-old former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson. "He couldn't be more heartless," said a friend of the gridiron great and his eight-months-pregnant wife, Ginny, whose Manhattan divorce suit cites Tiki Barber's "adultery."

"(Ginny) is very heavily pregnant and was last week ordered into the hospital on bed rest," the friend said. "Meanwhile, Tiki has been spotted all over town with his new girlfriend while she was in the hospital."

Tiki Barber, who already has two sons with his wife of 11 years, is now shacked up with the sultry Johnson in a central Manhattan love nest.

Ginny Barber is also outraged that her estranged husband has been low-balling her in out-of-court negotiations over financial support, a family friend said.
"Tiki refused to give her anything close to what she needs," the friend said. "The reason she filed is that settlement talks didn't work."

The divorce action was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court and accepted by Tiki Barber's matrimonial lawyer on his behalf. Meanwhile, a source said that the "Today" show has booted Tiki Barber as a high-priced correspondent amid fallout from the scandal.
